Yael Stein, who is Australian and lives in New York City since 2013 She played Lorna Morrello's character in Orange Is the New Black. Yael graduated from NIDA. Yael was fortunate to work with some of Australia's most renowned storytellers. She's worked behind the scenes in television, film and the theatre. Yael is a hugely successful career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's journey to New York City began when her production was critically acclaimed by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael was the co-founder of The Cannery. It's located within Bushwick Brooklyn and operates out of Brooklyn to encourage creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
