Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the darkest tales. Lolo Jones, athlete of the USA and World hurdles, has earned this status after many years of dedication and endurance. Jones is a child born into a family of no mothers and had five children living suffering from poverty and hardships when she was a kid, endured an extremely challenging childhood. Her mom lived in the street and was even living in the cellar of a church in the area at one point. Jones was required to relocate into a new school each year up until her time in high school due to this sporadic lifestyle. Jones moved away from her mother and moved to Theodore Roosevelt so that her to focus on her track interest. Her family was split up in high school so she could be focused on her academics.
